Since anyone can remember the Clan has been run by our Elders. Teaching the children our ways, ensuring the welfare of the Clan and making the important decisions to ensure are safety and survival. In recent years Grand Ma has come to lead the Elders and rule the Clan. Sternly when needs be. All major concerns must be run past her. Minor decisions may be dealt with by one of the other elders or by Grand Ma's voice who act's for her when the factions meet. |
Work |

Work and Career is an important factor in Clan life. All members are encouraged to take a vocation in life to bring home food for the table or the money to buy it with. With the current number of Clans folk active in national and international affairs Grand Ma has opened this up to include bringing favor and good will to the Clan. Some Clan members have taken on the role of Journey Man to seek far and wide the skills that will take them through life. |

Meal time is of great importance to the whole Clan, not just the Ogres. A time to come together and discuss our day to day lives with our kin. Grand Ma takes particular attention a these times to make sure all her children (as she views the Clan) are well fed and happy. Each with there own bibs marked with their first initial. Even when the Clan travels abroad it will make the effort to sit down and share at least one meal together each day. |
Midwinter's Festival |
|
|
Once a year the Clan gets together as a whole to share news of what has passed, celebrate births and mourn those departed. Marquees are laid out and heated. Traditional decorations are hung and Grand Ma cooks for all of us. Even those on guard have a fair feast taken out to them. It is during this festival that a census is taken of the Clan and to keep the records up to date. |
